OK, I got a Spyder that I was told the motor was blown.
It turns out the RH side motor mount bracket that goes from the top to the RH motor mount to the engine is damaged.
All but one of the studs is broken off. I assume the mount was replaced at some point and they never tightened the nuts to the studs. That is what was making the knocking sound.
Anybody have a spare?

No, but it sounds like you got lucky – just order from Toyota and be done with it. 😀

If the Toyota part is expensive it might be a good idea to ask on SC as many that did the 2ZZ swap probably have one laying around because we need to use a custom bracket in place of that mount.

I tried Toyota but it is on backorder and I was told it would be a month out.
I just want to get the motor to run before I offer to sell it on here. No sense in wasting a good motor and trans.
