Mid-Engine Corvette

 This doesn’t surprise me but in a way it is well deserved for having an affordable mid-engine V8 mass produced car.  Lets hope it holds up because Corvette owners are generally front engine loyalist and the first to scream sour grapes once problems develop. 

 

I am on the vette forums a lot. There are some front engine only guys but most don’t really have a problem with the engine placed behind the driver. It’s the looks of it that most fight over.  But there is a very vocal group of manual transmission lovers that simply won’t buy the car for that one omission.  

Say what you want about Doug, but I think he nails it here. For me, maybe in a year or two.
