Celebrating 20 Years of Spyder owners.

I have reissued a new version of the valet cover and more items in a value pack for your MR2 Spyder.

DSCF4260

These two new covers turned out great but because of shipping and packaging costs I cannot send them in a cheap envelope as I did the previous cover because its now magnetic so I decided instead to make a nice value pack at a very reasonable cost to include other items.

The price is $12 plus $3 for shipping.  The valet cover is very nice fit and finish and the new fuel door and hatch stickers with the better inks are a nice touch.

Please click the link below to place your order. At present I have eight sets ready for shipping. Im very impressed with a new plastic bonder Im using as I cant break my test pieces so its possible that I may bring back the magnetic keyhole covers.

Done deal.  I'll take a set of the outside keyhole covers in silver if/when you decide to bring the magnets back.

Currently I've got one magnetic and one of the other kind, and found that the non-magnetic one lets water into the lock mechanism over time.

Certainly. I’m going to start testing today. The problem I had before is inconsistent results with the previous plastic bonder. Not everyone but more than a few and it was unacceptable so I stopped. The problem is the plastic is thinner for the Spyder version so there is more chances of flexing. This new bonder is also a filler and it’s tougher than anything I have come across. I feel it just might be the ticket.

Thanks guys. Its much appreciated. Im getting myself out of the red with this but I imagine the rest will come in due time. It gives me confidence to explore other things that maybe a benefit to our community.

Im going to finish making the rest so I have inventory.

Just received my 20th Anniversary kit in the mail today.  These are awesome, Dev!  They really came out nice.  Plus I can now change out the stickers (again) and have another Spec sheet to keep track of maintenance.  Thanks again for continuing to support this community with great products!

Very pleased that you received them.

I should have the remaining orders out Saturday. I had to use the day to stock up on food. Its going to be a rough month. Not the virus the dumb lazy people that panic at the last minute that create shortages and drive up prices.

Nice looking product... but my glove box cover falls off very easily.  Is the magnet supposed to stick out farther?  It doesn't make contact with the metal of the keyhole.

Let me see if I can improve on it so the magnet reaches and had better hold.

I have a small tray that sits on the floor directly in front of the passenger seat, that holds some handheld radios with 16 inch antennas.

I popped the cover on, drove about 400 feet and came to a stop.  The whip antenna moved forward, touching the glove box and the magnetic cover jumped onto the antenna and stayed there.  When I looked over and the cover was gone, I said to myself, "WTF?"

It took a minute before I noticed it clinging to the top of my radio antenna.  I turned the tray 90 degrees and it hasn't happened again, but now that I started playing with it, I can knock it off pretty easy.
