I have gone though so many lenses from various manufactures adapted and native for many years.  If you want to know the best lens I tested its this one.

Canon EF 35L.  It is a masterpiece of perfection and originally designed for film.

Last one of the set.

The is the town of Westminster Maryland which is mostly rural. It was founded by the English a very long time ago and eventually it mixed in with the Irish,Scots,Germans and now others as the demographics change. These people gave their blood and treasure  only to have the poppy find its way back and poison this community with devastating results for their children. To add insult to injury they now label the people of rural America as low intelligent racist extremist. They are some of the nicest people you will meet who are very accommodating and talkative about their cars which they love to share.  Many of the folks that attended were so old I was impressed that they were still driving what they love, some were original owners.

I went to Annapolis MD for another car show today. They did a nice tribute for 911.

I decided to test out my other Fuji camera which only has 16mp but it has what is known as an Xtrans sensor which tries to mimic film. I enhanced it further but there are some indelible qualities of how this camera captures images that is nostalgic.   You can pick a used one for around $200 and in my opinion its better than the sensors that came later on with higher megapixels.

Another with the XT-1

What a camera. Its the Xtrans sensor that gives it that analog feel.

Back to my GFX.  This was shot with the Nikkor 105mm f2.5 AI .  This lens has taken the most famous picture in the world which was the Afghan girl.

I was thinking of selling it so it was on the chopping block to finance another lens.  As you all know I buy lenses and then sell them because they just don't pass my discriminating taste.  I picked up this lens used for a little over $100 and serviced it myself as it was easy to take apart. Although I have given up on some of the other Nikon lenses Im keeping this one. It has a quality that makes very good images.

Minolta Rokkor 58mm f1.2 radioactive version shot wide open.  What is interesting about this lens is, its period for this car.

I went to the local trolly museum.  Oddly its just a mile from my house. The trolly cars  were in service until the early 60s which served the DC metro area.

This is the photography I like the most which is not very popular these days. Its in the style of Abstract Impressionism which is one of the photographic arts popular during the film era. Its only on a rare occasion I can get something like this with enough shapes and lighting elements.
