That is a fine photograph. It has presence and a great background. Very nice foreground as well.

I was in Healdsburg for work, and the job took substantially longer than expected. But we finished at sunset, so it gave me the chance to take some nice photos in the vineyards. Unfortunately my Moto Edge takes some pretty mediocre photos, it's like the phone sucks some life out of every photo, but they're still neat. Have to start lugging the DSLR around.

I bought a Nikon to GFX converter expander from a lady on EBay who did not welch on the deal. This thing is expensive but fortunately for me no one bid on it and I got it for cheap. What this does is convert full frame Nikon lenses to medium format so it covers the sensor which is a big problem for wide angle lens. There are some tradeoffs however depending on the lens the trade might be in my favor. I had a chance to test it and it works great. Not the sharpest but sharp enough for my needs. This ended up being a great budget option over the native lens which $2600. Also this old Nikon lens makes artsy pictures you don't get from modern lenses that are clinical.
The air and space museum is better every time I see it
Unfortunately many of the exhibits were covered because they were renovating the roof while it was closed. The Zoo is also open now and Im just waiting for the mall museums to open up so I can have some fun. Im just four miles from the last stop on the Subway. I just hope they open before the elections otherwise its going to be dangerous and a crime of opportunity while the police are busy.
They still have the Lockheed SR-71 (Blackbird) on display? That, the Air France Concorde and the Boeing B-29 (Enola Gay) were always my favorite planes to check out. Also helps that I really like the transformers movies and the blackbird is in one of them.
