Has anyone removed the ABS pump unit and installed an adjustable bias valve instead?

The Spirit MR-S had the abs deleted for Touge.

Also found two on Spyderchat but that was a long time ago; also found that the answer there too consistently was ´why?´.

As to why I think it suffices to point to the McLaren F1 which has/had over 600 hp and not even power assisted brakes; ´simplify and then add lightness´ as Chapman never said 🤣

Oh and just about éverything on the Spyder works well OEM yet modding is the life´s blood of fora and concerning the brakes there were group buys for Willwood big discs so 😜

Stock ABS does not work with slicks or tires sizes that are very different from stock sizes.  Mine and a couple other I know of have removed or disabled the ABS and have no problems.

@rande

Thanks for responding Rande.

I know how to, but would appreciate a heads up on specifics for the vehicle. Also which valve you used; one in just the rear line or one between front and rear.

Kindest regards,

Petrus
