My smt car had started idling slow.
Took of the rubber inlet hose between MAF and throttle body.
Cleaned the inside of the tb and valve with WD40 on a rag.
Reassembled.
Now it starts at 2K and then quicly settles at almost 1500.
Disconnected the battery for half an hour, no change.
With the inlet hose off I can see/feel that the throttle valve is not entirely closed: I can push it some 2 mm closed against sping pressure. The throttle cabe is slack enough (and not directly connected anyway).
Is there a TPS relearn/reset procedure?
Or something else I may have messed up?
