I am going to re-cover my leather seat covers. Amazon or EBay (seatshop vs. leatherseats.com) and I need to choose what options. OE is black with insert perforations and black stitch.  Being low-key and not interested in drawing attention, just clean and immaculate, I am thinking to simply duplicate that OE look.  However I got one shot so admittedly I do mentally debate changing stitching color (red), getting diamond stitching (18-wheeler...?), two-tone, etc.

Any input, experience, opinion?

I installed these -> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LP3BRVW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and if you are patient, they come out very nice and are reasonably priced though you will need some hog-ring pliers and rings.

Mono Craft GT-300 with a few upgrades...

It might help to know why you want to do this to offer opinions/suggestions. Personally, I love the OEM leather seats as is.

The previous owner had a dog. Apparently a sizable one with nails. I’ve put it off for years but I can see stitching popping in places. Although my seats are in great condition. So now doing the seats... I can’t picture how different color stitching or diamond stitch, etc. would look. So I ask you all...

Also I want to add heating and increase bolsters as much as possible while maintaining the fitment of the covers. Any information on the best aftermarket heaters and how to best increase bolstering without contorting the seat shape ... all would be helpful information by Spydergeniuses.

I would post a picture of the car but I can’t figure out how to post here yet.

from your pics you have a silver car like me... i have a black cloth interior, but i managed to snag a set of OEM tan leather, so i'm going to do that to change it up a bit... and give the interior some color... stitching is more personal preference though...

Black seats are mandatory with a black interior (personally).  It is hard to determine what any color stitching would look like because I don’t know where or which stitching would be colored.  The diamond stitching was just another option I offered to get some reaction but not something I would likely consider unless a bunch of you were to say or show amazing support and pictures.

And I hope this marks post #3...
