No those wires are to control the motor directly from the body module output and not through the inputs.  

 

I don't know, pull the switch and look at the wire color code connected to the switch.  They should be the same colors I stated.

this is actually a great suggestion... i forgot about that... if you pop the switch out of the dash and look behind there, you should see the wire colors for lock and unlock... in theory you can also tap the keyless entry into here as well... 

The wires on keyless entry might not be long enough. Besides, we both have a 2000. Wire colors should be same. I still think I did ground incorrectly. Will find out this weekend when I try again.

Well, now it beeps at me and I am not sure why. Door trigger?

Well I am starting to think I have the wrong wires which makes no sense given Kam has the same model. How can wire color/location differ on the same model car?!

No, it's the same wires. I can get it to lock but unlock takes 6+ tries. Why??????????????

lol it takes 2 button presses. Now I see what they mean by double pulse. Probably means I am missing a wire somewhere but I can live with this.
