I hate having to jack up the car and take the damn wheels off to change the headlights.  Hate it.  Hate it.  Hate it.

Not necessary at all! Undo the 10mm bolt in the corner of the bumper, and undo the two 10mm at the bottom side of the bumper. Then pull the bumper to the side and pull the fender liner off and reach in with the wheel rotated to the side.

Yeah... that doesn't work with my car... tried, and tried, and tried again.  Even with the bumper all the way off, my lights just don't want to come out.  It's a real ordeal.

Anyway, while it was all apart I replaced all the plastic body fasteners and every incandescent bulb in the front of the car.

I'm not sure, but I'm getting the sense that you don't like changing the headlights on your car.  Am I reading you correctly?

The lights ARE clipped in aside from the fasteners. Gotta yank em hard. If the bumper is still on I'd throw tape on the flat part in front of the headlight so you don't damage your paint.

You have gathered correctly.  It's a pain in the ass.

Yes, I know they should be able to pull out... but no matter how I try, they won't budge.   I even greased that clip last time I was in there, in hopes that they would pull out this time.... NADA, ZILCH, ZIP.  F'n things won't move.

It's unnerving to pull THAT hard honestly, but it's what ya gotta do. I've removed my headlights a dozen times when working on them so I know the pain.

I'd just rather take it all apart to prevent breaking anything... just frustrating

When I tried to change to LED side markers, I started down this path and quit when I realized I would have to remove the bumper.

Halo offered help, but I think that even though he shares generously, he has some tricks up his sleeve and a lot of just simple finesse and comfort with the process from having tweaked his lights 119 times. Still have the LEDs in the original package in my glovebox... 🙁

Hey side markers can be reached with just removing 3 bolts per side! No removing the bumper. Heck my bumper is broken off so I can do a video since it's now 2 bolts instead of 3 haha.

Yeah, side markers can done without taking the bumper off, just have to undo the plastic shield inside the fender.

I have to take the wheel off to fit my arm in there.  With stock 15's I was able to leave the wheel on.
