MkI, don't know, but a MkII is not necessarily a project car. I bought a '91 Turbo in '14, replaced the battery, tires/wheels and topped-up the coolant. Not terribly bad. TheΒ reason I don't still have it? The guy who sold it to me, wanted it back...that's the only reason I now have my 2ZZ swap Spyder. I did, however, add a '06 G35 Coupe 6sp this Spring...zoom zooooooom!!!
"Think as we think", say many Spyder owners, "or you are abominably wicked, you are a toad". After I'd thought about, I said "I will then, be a toad."

After I'm satisfied with a swap, I will transplant my old powertrain into an oil burner. Breath life back into the thing and shine'r up really well (hopefully it's yellow). That way I get the opportunity (our birthright ΧͺΧΧΧΧͺΒ ) to own two Spyders at once.Β
My current Spyder is Solar Yellow. I'm not normally a "yellow" guy, but I've grown to like it...zoom zoom
