I noticed that the hard top scuffs the body along the back edge. It is a function of the vibrating of the top and body against or independent of the other. I put electrical tape along the body, and that works, but I am curious what others do.
The hard top rubber is newish (the top is newish) and I do tighten down the top clamps on the doors sides. I use the Mitch's Auto Parts hard top mounting brackets. These do not include the rear most mounts although I don't think that would limit the minimal vibratory scuffing.
Innovative solutions?
I used this solution for the cap on my truck -> https://www.amazon.com/truck-cap-tape/s?k=truck+cap+tape
It may work for you too.

I used the simple flat foam rubber tape, but that was all that was really available way back when I had that kind of truck.
Some of the new barrier rubber version tapes seem way better and should work well.
I would just measure the top surface contact width and see what options fit these requirements.

I used a roll of 2” wide clear “bra” to cover my front bumper for a while. It should work well for your application. Just keep an eye on it over time. The stuff I applied made the paint shop pretty upset when it was time for a new paint job. It was not this brand, but it left a nasty goo mess behind. Probably avoid by replacing every few years.
