I am thinking about sponsoring another group buy for Convex Exterior Mirrors.
I have them installed on both my spyders. I can't imagine driving in traffic without them. They are that good!
One pair of convex mirrors - glass only. Smooth uniform curvature with slight blue tint (reduces glare). They can be mounted on top of your existing mirrors very quickly. (but ugly) Or you can remove the existing mirrors and install these into the factory frame. Approximate price $80/pair including shipping in USA. I'm always happy to ship overseas, but may add $5 to $10 shipping cost extra. They are high quality glass, made from materials supplied from Germany.
I am only aware of one other supplier for mirrors, and they sell for $154.99 plus shipping. They have a much tighter radius than the group buy. I've never tried them but I think the distortion would be excessive. The ones I can get are perfect for eliminating the blind spot without too much distortion.
Post if you're interested. If there is sufficient interest, I can probably make this happen quickly - maybe 2-3 weeks.

One of the best mods you can get for the Spyder. I almost want to buy a second set, although I only have one Spyder haha. I'll spread the word.

Yes! I picked up a set of these from you a couple years back when you dug up some hidden leftovers. One of my favorite creature comfort mods for the Spyder. The thought has crossed my mind a couple of times, if anything were to happen to my Spyder, the mirrors would be sorely missed... being the only irreplaceable item.
With that said, put me down for another set. I plan on owning a Spyder until the day some environmental agency takes my keys away at gunpoint. I want to have these mirrors for just as long.
I picked up a set the first time you offered these Cycle Head. Great addition, really like the blue tint.
I'd be in for a couple pairs ..... no lettering on the passengers side .
Is there a "No Lettering" option?

All of these mirrors will be clear with no sandblasted warnings!

Cyclehead, I am in for 1 set.
Thanks

Is the curvature one-dimensional? Or do these also put the sun in your eyes like the fisheyes do?

They are cut from a perfect sphere. I’ve never noticed a problem with sun. The fisheye effect is pretty mild. The spherical radius is 1016mm.

I can second the statement about not having any significant issues with the sun in these mirrors.
No major issues with the sun compared to any other factory mirror here.
