Don sold the place out from under us.   New owner promised no ads, now the place is littered with ads.   Poor oversight of their "property"  to degree that some of us found it no longer tolerable to habitat there.  ... at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

haha.  Yep.  This place should be more like what SC was back in the early to mid 2000's.  Only it will not be sold out from the people because it's owned by the people.  And no single person has the keys.

IDK, LT; I think you have the master set with me having the valet keys 🤣 with that said, we, and everyone else that's involved, seems to have their head on their shoulders and have the community as their priority. 

I like what we have all built this place into with more growth to come!

Absolutely. I couldn't be more proud that its for the members. 

 The stuff you guys are doing to continuously improve the board makes me forget that there is a Spyderchat. Sometimes I think Im on the old Spyderchat.

haha.  Maybe.  But with the backups and the FTP access, we can set up something where we can keep the site going even if I wasn't hosting it.  It's all in due time. 

I own the domain name, but we can look into a way for multiple people to be controllers of the domain.  Anyway, I have other streams of revenue.  So I have no need or intention of making this site one of those streams.  I'm glad to be able to host and give back to the community that helped me start up Takuban Motorsports.  🙂

  I don't think that is necessary. We all have a gentleman's agreement in sprit of this board. You are the light house and just the fact that you bought it up is all we need to know that its in trusting hands. Don on the other hand took over by taking advantage of a bad situation when one person in the group used his key to malicious dismantle the board in anger. 

Hey quick question. Did you change something recently? Now when I click on a thread it goes to the first UNREAD post rather than just the last post. This was hugely frustrating as I had to scroll up and go back pages sometimes and now it works as it should and it's delightful.

Yes.  🙂

I routinely install updates to the forum software and various other plugins.  That was a bug, IMHO, with the previous software and now it's finally fixed.  I will be trying to gradually add anything that makes the site better to use and enjoyable for everyone.

One more bug. Clicking on a photo opens two layers of photo. One with black surround. Once you X out of that, you see one with a tinted surround, slightly smaller. Should only be one.

 I also noticed that there has been more continuous improvement to the forum. Well done.  I know you and Patrick are not on the forum as much but Im happy that you guys are making the forum better everyday and with the right kinds of upgrades. 

 If you notice our membership has kind of stalled as it's creeping in slowly but that also means we no longer have fake spam accounts which is great.  I did some badly needed housekeeping and so far Im loving this board.  When I go on Spyderchat to answer for sales posts I just stoped reading the threads and just conduct business because its hard on the eyes.
