Any ideas on sunvisor upgrade? I do not like the OEM units just because of their taxicab appearance. Any covers, makeovers? Thanks in advance!

Uhhh.... My driver side visor looks like this now...

Due to visibility issues. If I need a visor while driving I get it out of my glove box and wear it on my head.
I left the passenger visor as an amenity for the occasional passenger (my gf).
@marsrock7 I have exactly the same visor delete plugs. Sometimes, however, I really would like to have a visor! Thanks though. At least I am not alone!

Would be nice to reupholster them in suede or something. They are particularly cheap.

@haloruler64 Amen! Now we just need to find SOMEONE who does that sort of thing! Wait! Maybe............

What's that guy's name again?
Bikehead, or something like that 😀
I think he might be retired now !!

Very considerate of you. I find that is always good to do.

I resemble that comment. I can stitch up something like a visor fairly easily. I agree the factory visors look like soggy diapers. It would take a little design work to get the friction right so they stay in position. There is some stuff called “door panel board” material (I think) that I can sew through.

@cyclehead Hello. I will be your first client if you wish. Tell me how to proceed.

Couldn't you just use spray adhesive over the stock piece? If you cut the vinyl off of course. Unfortunately I don't have any spares to experiment on, like I did with the boot.

I'm also interested. I also wonder if there is a way to make a sleeve that fits over the existing visors and can be tidied up by the customer once installed so it looks factory perfect.
I have a few spare sets on the shelf. I’ll try cutting one apart to see what’s inside.

Interested X3
Here ya go. Fine Japanese cardboard! I can certainly do better. I’ll order some proper hardboard so I can make nice visors.
