Uh, am I the only one...useless.
1. How does one easily get the spare out?
2. How does one easily check/fill the coolant reservoir? Remove strut attachment bolts for strut/strut tower bar removal? Gotta go to both sides, rather than just from the front/rear. Same with checking oil, adding if necessary.
3. Adds unnecessary weight.
Innovative, custom show car cool? Uh, yes. Day to day use/necessary? Uh, no.
Grumpy old man syndrome, bah humbug 🤨 😀

I agree it is pretty silly. I suppose if you had glass one piece hod/fenders and a manual hinge you could shave a few pounds.
I'll jump on the useless train...
Car show cool, maybe... but completely impractical. I won't be adding anything to my car that has no actual purpose.

if you look at Marwans build... i don't think he is looking for weight savings or build on a budget... everything about that car screams 'no expenses spared.'

If that's what "he" wants...we all have our dreams!

Not my cup of tea either...
Mono Craft GT-300 with a few upgrades...
It makes sense from a show car perspective which is probably what he is going for.
What body is he using?
